Antique Red English Transferware: Old Britain Castles

This is the Old Britain Castles china pattern made by Johnson Bros and it's one of my

favorite china patterns. It was produced in a few different colors such as brown, lavender/eggplant, and this red. Some folks refer to it as pink, but it looks more

red to me so I call it red.

First of all - dying over this wall of beautiful grey weathered wood. Second - love the contrast of the little weeds below and her touch of red and white... just about perfect.
