Every year I try and change it up a little bit around the house for the holidays..  I was going through some of my previous posts and found that there have been subtle changes.. maybe next year I really need to switch it up.  This time around I added more antlers and kept it pretty simple.  We typically have two trees but opted for just one very round one this year and did not put out most of the decorations... simple simple simple...

I also love how people find such joy in decorating their homes for holidays...

In this case, Halloween! 

Whether you like to decorate your home indoors or outdoors, there are
tons of great Halloween props that you can make yourself at little
or no cost. The key is to find some inspiration and then let your creativity
run wild. Some hints: Shop thrift stores for materials you can use such as old 
clothes for scarecrows, or for cloth material remnants (think sheets, tulle) to build
your own ghoul. Some thrift shops also have a Halloween costume section, so be 
sure to check that out too.

glitter....

 

I have to admit I have a weakness for a little Christmas sparkle and glitter.  This is our tree from last year - I am not sure what kind of changes I want to make this year but here are a few of the newest editions that I did pick up.  I love the stags and the little glittery house in the globe.   

Do you stick with the same holiday decorations or do you change it up each year?

We have a made a step forward though - we picked up our trees yesterday - I love the smell of the fresh tree so perfectly Christmas.

I came  across this gorgeous space and had to share.  Love love the garland and the antlers.  How are you doing on your holiday decor and shopping?  Still no tree here- hoping for tonight if it is not raining too badly, shopping is going a bit better.
