Pretty much perfect I think.. there are so many styles that I love and I would need a hundred houses to really explore them all..but I guess that is why I have the blog so that I can enjoy them and share them all with you.  This kitchen is so simple and beautiful!  The detailing on the ceiling makes it just that little bit of perfect.

weekend wishes

 

Wishing you a wonderful holiday weekend! This is one of the first years in a long time that we have not been out of town and I am really enjoying the time to relax and get prepared for the upcoming Christmas rush.  I know that the most important part of prepping for the holidays is managing my time properly.  I will be organizing my lists and cannot wait to start checking things off.  How about you, are you just starting or, dare I say it, already done?

weekend wishes....

 

It's the weekend again!!!  Aren't you excited?  I cannot wait to take it a little easier and get to my fall cleaning.. I know it is similar to spring cleaning but I really feel the need to simplify and complete projects right now.  Maybe it is mental preparation for the upcoming holidays, I am not sure, but I want to clean everything out and eliminate the excess in my life.  

A few things that are inspiring me this week...

Clean and Simple {pond australia}

 

I love the simple display and clean feeling of this shop.  It reminds me of the shops in Paris that display individual piece but when you purchase they pull a freshly wrapped piece from the back.  What a wonderful way to shop!

Astier de Villatte, Paris

 

My deep love for Astier de Villatte is no secret as I have professed it many times..  whenever I am in Paris I visit the store on Rue St. Honore.  It is so dreamy and so simple at the same time.  The stacks and stacks of dishes call my name.  I buy a couple of pieces each time I travel there and it can be really hard to select just the right things.  Sometimes I have been known to visit more than once in a trip.  They had some great new pieces, new collaborations with various artists and many of the classics that I have come to adore.

It is simply amazing and one of the highlights of my trip everytime!
