New Uses For Old Bird Baths

I love old birdbaths. I just think they're so pretty.
But what if your old birdbath will no longer hold water?
Then why not turn it into a unique piece of garden decor?
Check out these ideas below and be inspired!

Upcycled Garden Wrought Iron Bed Frame Planter

Here is another upcycled garden idea, this one is from deco marce and
features a section of an old wrought iron bed frame that has been
creatively turned into a planter.  You could create something similar
with a section of old garden fence (such as a garden gate) and wire.

I think this would be so pretty hung against a garden wall
or shed, perhaps against brick for contrast. Imagine
some climbing vines...

The Upcycled Garden II

I really enjoyed writing The Upcycled Garden blog post I did last year so I thought I'd
do another one (or two) of them this year. Before you know it spring will be upon us
(hopefully sooner rather than later!) so why not get those gears turning and think about
what creative ways you can use and display unique items in your yard and garden
this summer? Take a look at this collection and let me know what you think!

Salvaged Wood & Pallet Potting Benches

A potting bench or potting station is the perfect spring project for your garden, porch, or garden shed, and right now is the perfect time to start planning and collecting the wood
and other materials you will need to create your very own potting bench creation!

You can use all different types of  salvaged and reclaimed materials to create a potting
bench. Old doors, wood shipping pallets, salvaged wood, sections of fencing, and even old sinks and dressers can be incorporated into a potting bench! Your only limit is your own imagination!  Check out these wonderful potting benches and maybe you'll be inspired to plan and make your own!
